Little Falls, Minnesota

LXL 359 One of the last TWEB survivors

A most pleasant good evening to everyone.   Tonight’s feature takes us to Little Falls, Minnesota.   LXL  was found near EN25tw, in North central Minnesota.  The transmit format is quite long, nearly forty seconds.   However, with the long TWEB (or if one wishes to be modern, “AWOS”) broadcast, the cw ident can be painfully slow during periods of qsb.  How romantic to hear such an NDB proclaiming local wx.  One should enjoy these creatures now, as they are vanishing rapidly.

One of the last. LXL 359

If I recall correctly, there was once a famous person that came from around these parts?  Certainly if you are viewing these silly photos you are already aware of the answer.
